About us
Nasza restauracja zdecydowanie wyróżnia się na tle pozostałych gdańskich lokali. Nie mamy na myśli wyłącznie wyjątkowej lokalizacji nad brzegiem Motławy, w bliskim sąsiedztwie średniowiecznego dźwigu portowego nazywanego Żurawiem. Jesteśmy wyjątkowym punktem na gastronomicznej mapie miasta, który znajduje się w kamienicy Goldwasser i dysponuje dużym ogródkiem. Goście chwalą przemiły klimat, a przede wszystkim wyśmienitą kuchnię przyciągającą rzesze klientów. Oprócz samej restauracji kamienica mieści siedem stylowych apartamentów, z oknami wychodzącymi na rzekę Motławę i inne atrakcje miasta.
Menu to jeden z naszych największych atutów. Serwujemy tradycyjne potrawy kuchni polskiej oraz międzynarodowej, a specjalność lokalu stanowią wyborne dania z mięsa. Osoby, które miały okazję skosztowania steków ze złotem, do dziś z rozrzewnieniem wspominają ich smak. Wśród sztandarowych dań restauracji Goldwasser można wymienić również Duet Foie Gras.
Oprócz tego oferujemy tradycyjne gdańskie alkohole, począwszy od wódki jałowcowej Machandel, przez intensywnie korzenny Kurfürsten, a skończywszy na unikalnym w skali światowej likierze z płatkami 23-karatowego złota Goldwasser. Poza opcją degustacji na miejscu istnieje możliwość kupna trunku na wynos. Klienci mogą wybrać różne pojemności ozdobnych butelek (0,04l, 0,2l, 0,5l oraz 0,1l), a także zamówić „złotą wodę” w welurowej sakiewce w kolorze czerwonym lub niebieskim. Natomiast przy opracowywaniu przepisów bazujemy na sztuce kulinarnej oraz świeżych składnikach. Unikamy gotowych przetworzonych półproduktów, mając świadomość, że nie należą do obojętnych dla zdrowia. The booking went well. The food was great. I missed a bit form the lady that bring us the food, because my brother had birthday and i told her that and i told it in the booking text. We did not Get any respons on that - dessert with candles would be lovely. Not for free, but a question to me, If We would like that, had been Nice. But, absolutly a great place - We lovde it!

Wir bekamen das Restaurant von Freunden empfohlen und waren genauso glücklich und sehr zufrieden mit dem Komplettpaket. Ambiente, Essen, Wein und Kellner alles auf super tollem Niveau. Sollten wir Danzig noch einmal erleben, dann geht es dort auch noch mal zum Essen hin. Danziger Goldwasser muss man dort auf jeden Fall probieren 👍🏽😍

Wir haben sehr schön im Wintergarten gesessen und gut gegessen. Leider dauerte es lange, bis die Getränke und das Essen serviert wurden. Vor allem das Warten auf die Getränke (deutlich über eine halbe Stunde) drückte etwas die Stimmung. Selbst der Espresso, eigentlich schnell bereitet, brauchte seine Zeit.

We was served champagne that was for to lång, and had no bubbles left, my friend had a full glass and mine was halv full. We told him that, and it took another 15 minutes for him to come back, at that moment, the champagne that we ordered was out, så we got to drink that champagne with no bubbels and pay for it.We started eating after 1 1/2hour.

Very overpriced and overhyped place, our waitress tried really hard to make us buy the most expesive things and tried to make us buy more food/drinks so many times. We asked for a medium+ steak and both me and my boyfriend got an overdone, grey, dry steak. Not worth 135 Zloty. I also ordered a Pornstar Martini that costed three times as much as in another restaurant (because the waitress really recommended it but it wasnt on the menu ofcorse, probably because it costed 60 Zloty). Next time I’m in Gdansk I will go to another steak restaurant :)

We barely got to decide the meat dish ourselves when she looked at us sourly and said that the more expensive option was definitely more worth it. She got very upset when some of us in the party did not choose to go on her recommendation. So to this place I cannot recommend anyone to visit. There are much nicer places in Gdansk, everyone in the party thought this was a real bummer.

Excellent restaurant and outstanding service. My steak was a little under cooked from what I had ordered but it still tasted excellent. It was also missing some side dishes that were listed on the menu, however the waiter fixed these for me. Dessert was divine and beautifully presented. Great job Goldwasser, I look forward to returning soon!

Really good food and nice and friendly staff! Probably touristic but for good reason ;) I highly recommend this restaurant! The scallops and lobster soup were divine, and the shot of Goldwasser at the end was definitely a nice touch.

Perfekcyjna obsługa, niesamowity wystrój ... lokal ma swoją dusze ... jedzonko pyszne ... wygląda na talerzu niesamowicie i pobudza wszystkie kubki smakowe.

Dosc spora wpadka. Rezerwacja zgubiona, stolik nie przygotowany, kelnerzy przerzucali problem jak goracego kartofla do czasu az kierownik sali nie pojawil sie i zorganizowal miejsce dla 7 osob. Nietore potrawy byly dosc srednie w prownaniu do ceny, choc steki pierwsza klasa. Obslugujaca nas na koncu kelnerka nadrabiala i starala sie jak mogla. Podsumowujac - to nie pirewsza nasza wizyta w Goldwasser ale biorac ilosc dobrej klasy restaurcaji do okola prawdopodobnie ostatnia.
